Description

This long-term creative sprint came as a result of travel bans during the pandemic. Go Ahead Tours, a provider of group travel experiences, needed a way to stay relevant and maintain excitement around travel until it was safe again.

Coronavirus pandemic hit the travel industry hard with travel bans all over the world. This 6-month project was the solution to the question of keeping it afloat: How do you sell travel in a pandemic?

Pivoting quickly, the Brand & Marketing team switched strategies and became content creators: Connection, community, and nostalgia where built with interactive, immersive experiences that viewers could re-create at home.

We involved tour directors and suppliers in the creation of customer-facing materials more than ever more than ever before.

Collaborating across teams, we developed an online platform to provide at-home travel experiences, simultaneously reconnecting with travelers and providing other means of income for GAT and suppliers.

While other portions of the business were stunted from 2022 to 2021, our social media channels had massive growth.
