Legends is an exhibit that recognizes a coin as historical art. The interface emphasizes the delicate illustration and metallic look that make coins so enticing.
Because the exhibit’s coins are distant and encased behind glass, the coin-collecting app seeks to engage the visitors and simulate the satisfaction that comes with handling coins.
As a fun, take-home item from the exhibit, I created a token Legends coin featuring the Indianapolis Museum of Art using 3D printing and AutoCAD.
